Evan Walton

Evan Walton is a freelance writer with more years of shooting sports experience than anything else in life. Evan served in the United States Army from 2011-2015 as an 11Bravo with the 3rd Cavalry Regiment in Ft. Hood, Texas as the Vehicle Commander of a Stryker and platoon RTO. Upon exiting the Army in 2015, Evan pursued his degree in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Administration at San Francisco State University, CA. Upon completion of his BS in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Evan took a position in Yankton, South Dakota managing the world's largest archery center. During his tenure at the archery center, Evan acquired his NRA rifle coach certification, NRA shotgun instructor certification, 4H rifle certification, USA Shooting air rifle certification, and a USA Archery level 2 coaching certification. When not at the range testing new gun/scope combinations Evan enjoys bow hunting, rifle/shotgun hunting, and fishing with his family.
