Gary R. Anderson is a firearms writer and long time gun enthusiast who looks for places to share a lifetime worth of collective knowledge to help take the edge off of confusing topics and find new and exciting things to learn. Before and most of the time during his writing passion, Gary has spent nearly his entire life in private security, federal law enforcement, and EMS, with a few excursions into Search and Rescue when the need came along. Gary started an EMS training school from scratch and ran that for seven years, and has helped more than 1000 providers enter the job market.
